She explains practical ways to use the Bible to determine our purpose on earth and how to live the Good Life by living the God LIfe. I love her! She gave a powerful, riveting talk about the importance of remaining focused on Jesus as our Beacon and Crown of Righteousness amid the temporal world's numerous earthly distractions. We had the privilege of having Deedy as the featured speaker for our Spring Women's Retreat. Her love for the Lord and her desire for women to know and love Jesus is contagious. Deedy taught us deep, powerful truths from the Scriptures with humor, personal examples, and visual aids that helped us understand and remember the lessons from the Word. Her sessions not only spoke to our hearts but also moved us to action and growth in our walk with Christ. Months ahead of time, Deedy worked with me in preparing lessons that developed our theme, and though we were four states away, we worked seamlessly together! Deedy spoke at our Woman’s Retreat recently. It was actually the second time she was our guest speaker at a retreat. We enjoyed her so much the first time, we had to have her back. She is so real, and not afraid to share even the not so pretty details of her journey. Her love of Jesus shines from her face. While her main goal is to share the gospel with unbelievers and help believers mature in their walk, she enjoys a good laugh too! We had such a great retreat!
